Mission Statement
The mission of Company C, Academy of Dance is to provide quality instruction through the integration of different styles and techniques of dance in an enjoyable and productive environment to enhance our student’s skills, self-esteem and confidence.
Company C was established in August 2005 and is now beginning it's 18th Season. Company C has been awarded the Ledger-Enquirer Readers Choice for Favorite Dance Studio in 2010-2013 & 2017-2019, 2021 & 22 as well as WTVM's Best All Around Dance Studio in 2011 & 2012.
Location
Company C is located at 1300 13th Ave at the corner of 13th & 13th in MidTown Columbus. Now in our forever home that was previously noted as the iconic "Sho-Place" we are able to offer 7000 sq ft to include 3 dance rooms, an acting/vocal room, parent waiting area and a break room for dancers.
What We Offer
Company C offers classes for dancers beginning at the age of 2 through adult. Styles include ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, hip-hop, acro, musical theatre and clogging. Our sessions run from August-May of each year with performances in December and the Annual Spring Production. In addition to regular classes and performances we also offer placement on our award winning competition team. Please see our class descriptions for more detailed information.
